Well, with 4 tracks looping, Logic Pro starts to crackle and hesitate and my CPU goes off the roof: 836%!! So that alone eats op 9 cores! While absolutely doing jack ****Дid the same on Pro Tools: all native plug-ins: 104% CPU! So yeah, I gladly pay Avid my yearly subscription. This machine yields a 28.000+ score on bechmarking. This, on a Mac Pro 5.1 with 48 Gig of RAM, all SSD and even a 950 Pro NVME blade with 2 XEON 6-cores at 3,06Ghz meaning the OS has 24 cores at its disposal. 1 instance of the Kick 2 plug in by Nicky Romero, and 3 Diva instances. I literally cannot use it for a single session without wanting to Hulk-smash my Mac within an hour. Honestly I don't understand why people like Armin van Buuren use it.

Logic Pro on the other hand is ridiculously cheap but it's extremely buggy. As said, I think you underestimate the tremendous efforts these people put into this software.

Overall the hardware is still a tiny little bit more powerful and RolandCloud missed the opportunity here to also add the KiwiTechnics upgrades you can have on the hardware. Also, the stereo separation вЂ“ which usually is an issue with plugins vs hardware вЂ“ closely matches. But the plug in is really really good! The plug in is VERY good! As always, the hardware has a little more bottom end where the software has more higher frequencies but perhaps this is due to the age of the old synth. I verified the JX3P plug in with the real JX3P keyboard which I also own.
